# Bedding & Sleep

A medium-firm gel memory foam mattress in six thicknesses, a quilted topper to soften one that's too firm, a waterproof protector that goes on like a fitted sheet, deep-pocket sheets that reach under a modern mattress, three memory foam pillows — a contoured cervical pillow, a classic loft and a wedge — plus contoured masks for the light you can't switch off and a satin sleep set. Sizes are in inches, and the sheet, protector and topper each state the mattress depth they fit.

- **Shipping:** We ship to addresses within the United States only — no international shipping yet. Shipping is free on every US order, with one exception: a few picks are priced too low to include delivery. Their page says “Shipping calculated at checkout” — at checkout you enter your address, see the carriers’ rates with delivery estimates, and choose one before you pay; the rate you pick is the amount charged. Everything else in the same order still ships free. Ships from a US warehouse. Most orders arrive within about 8 business days.
- **Returns:** 30-day returns on unused items. Return shipping is on you unless it arrived damaged, defective or wrong. Return address provided after approval. Custom-printed items: Printed to your order, so it is outside our 30-day return — we replace it if it arrives damaged or the print is wrong.
- **Prices:** in US dollars.

## What to check before you buy

1. **Measure mattress depth first**: Standard fitted sheets stop at about 12 inches. Add a topper and most mattresses pass 14, so the sheet pops off the corners every night. Measure with the topper on.
2. **A topper changes firmness, not support**: A topper can make a too-firm mattress comfortable. It cannot fix a sagging one — you'll feel the dip straight through. Replace the mattress in that case.
3. **Check how a protector sounds**: Waterproof backing is what makes some protectors crackle when you roll over. Membrane-backed knit fabrics stay quiet; laminated vinyl does not.

## Common questions

- **What size mattress topper do I need?** The same size as your mattress. Standard US sizes are Twin 38 × 75 in, Full 54 × 75 in, Queen 60 × 80 in, King 76 × 80 in and California King 72 × 84 in. The topper size guide below covers the in-between cases.
- **Will a topper make my bed sleep hotter?** Dense memory foam hugs the body and holds more heat; quilted, fiber-filled toppers let more air through. If you already sleep warm, the quilted kind is the safer pick.
- **Does a mattress protector go over or under the topper?** Over it. The protector is the layer that keeps spills and sweat out, so it belongs on top of everything it is protecting, directly under the fitted sheet.
