Clear PEVA Shower Liner, 72 × 72 in

Everyone knows the smell. You unfold a new vinyl liner, hang it up, and for the next few days the bathroom smells like a new car in the worst way. That smell comes from the plasticisers in PVC. This liner is PEVA, which contains no PVC at all. Same job, same clear film, none of the off-gassing. That is the whole reason to pick it over the vinyl one, and it is worth being plain about: the difference you will notice is the first week, not the tenth year. It is genuinely clear rather than frosted, so a small or windowless bathroom keeps the light it has. Shapes read through it softly, which is why it works as a liner behind a fabric curtain as well as on its own. Three magnets are sealed into the bottom hem. They hold the film against the side of the tub instead of letting it drift inward, and they keep the run-off on the inside. Across the top, twelve metal grommets in a reinforced header — the part that tears first on a cheap liner, when a wet film pulls at a bare punched hole. 72 in wide by 72 in tall, the common size for a US tub or shower. It weighs 280 g. Wipe it down or rinse it off; it does not go in the machine. Hooks or rings are not in the box — you will need a set to hang it.
