Magnetized Vinyl Shower Liner, 70 × 72 in

A shower liner has exactly two jobs: stay put, and not tear off the rings. Most fail at one of them within a year. This one has magnets sewn into the bottom hem. They pull the liner against the side of the tub instead of letting it billow inward and stick to your leg, and they keep the run-off on the inside where it belongs. At the top, the hook holes are metal grommets rather than punched slots in bare vinyl — that is the part that usually goes first, when a wet liner tugs at a plain hole until it splits. It is PVC vinyl, so it wipes clean rather than going in the wash. The maker lists it as mildew resistant, though no test or treatment is named, so read that as their claim rather than ours. Fresh vinyl also has a smell for the first day or two; if that matters to you, our PEVA liner is the one to look at instead. Eighteen colors. Most are solid and opaque, which is the point if you want the shower closed off. Clear, Frosted Clear and White are translucent — they keep the light in a small windowless bathroom, and they sit well behind a decorative fabric curtain. 70 in wide by 72 in tall, the standard size for a US tub.
