A pedestal sink looks tidy, but it comes with no cabinet of its own. This one is made for the space around it: a U-shaped cut-out centered at the back lets the pedestal pass through the top, the open shelf and the cabinet, so the storage sits right under the basin instead of crowding the floor beside it. Everyday things go on the open shelf, which is 22 in wide and 11 in deep and open at both sides as well as the front. Behind the two doors is one compartment with no inner shelf, 22.5 in wide and 11 in deep inside, for spare rolls, extra towels and whatever you would rather keep out of sight. The pedestal runs through the back center of both levels, so the usable space is on either side of it and in front. The cabinet is engineered wood in white, with framed door panels, vertical grooves and two round dark knobs. Four square legs hold the bottom 2.75 in off the floor. The maker rates it for 66 lb in total and 11 lb on the open shelf. Measure before you order. The pedestal has to fit within the 7.75 x 7.75 in cut-out, and it passes through the shelf and the cabinet floor as well, so check its widest point below the basin, not just the top. The underside of the basin needs to sit higher than the cabinet's 23.5 in, and you need 23.5 x 11.75 in of floor space around the pedestal.
